Driver Installation on Ubuntu Operating System
The PROXKey Token is fully supported on Linux/Ubuntu operating systems. Follow the steps below to install the PROXKey Token Driver on Ubuntu.
Step 1: Download the PROXKey Driver
Download the latest PROXKey Token Driver from the following link:
https://support.cryptoplanet.in/downloads.php
Step 2: Install Java
Before installing the PROXKey Driver, ensure that Java is installed on your system. Open the Terminal and execute the following command:
sudo apt-get install openjdk-8*
Wait for the installation to complete successfully.
Step 3: Install the PROXKey Driver
After downloading the driver package, locate the file proxkey_ubuntu.deb in your Downloads folder.
Double-click the proxkey_ubuntu.deb file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Alternatively, you can install the package using the Terminal:
sudo dpkg -i proxkey_ubuntu.deb
Step 4: Verify the Installation
Once the installation is completed, connect the PROXKey USB Token and verify that the token is detected successfully by the operating system.
- Click the install button to proceed with software installation

- Below screen that driver tool has been installed successfully

- Installation done within 5 second below mention screen for the reference

- Run diagnostics tool to check the system configuration

- Type Token PIN and login in ProxKey token tool

- Login Succeed
