CHANGE TOKEN USER PIN

User PIN is the password which the subscriber of the digital signature (DSC application) will have to use while doing a digital signature using his ProxKey token.

User PIN has to be kept confidential and not to be disclosed to any other person. ProxKey USB Token has a SOFT KEY facility to key in the PIN without using the keyboard for enhanced security to change the PIN. In case the USER PIN confidentiality / secrecy  has been compromised, the user can follow these steps for change his USER PIN.

• Connect the token , locate “WD ProxKey” Icon on the desktop and double click on it to launch the token management utility

• Select “Change User PIN” , On the right hand side –> Enter the OLD PIN –> Enter the NEW PIN you wish to Set –> Confirm the NEW PIN –> Click on OK. You can also use SOFTKEY BOARD for enhance security

• You will receive a confirmation message for successfully changing the USER PIN

Click on OK and you are done with changing of USER PIN, You will have to use your new USER PIN while using the digital signature or subsequent change of USER PIN
